Share your routes with others, and make their routes yours!
If you have a great bike, running, or riding route, you can share it with friends, teammates and everyone else at Arena365. You can also copy others' routes to make them your own and register activities on them. It's pretty awesome!
Why should I share my routes
It’s a very cool feature that may inspire you to try new routes and adopt them with a single click. It is smart for training partners to share the same route, and it’s fun to follow where friends and teammates work out.
We're working on making the route sharing concept even better, so we will eventually have a huge database of good tracks which you can easily find, share and take over.
To share a route
When you create a new route or register an activity on an existing route, you can choose to share it with others. To do so, tick the box 'Share this route'.
The route is now on your profile and can be viewed and copied by anyone who visits it.
When you register an activity and your route is shared, it will appear in the global feed, marked with a small map icon.
That way, friends, teammates or any other can follow the route that you have been taking. And the smartest feature of all is that they can also 'steal' and recycle your route.
How to use others’ routes
If you encounter a route that you would like to use, you can easily copy it and make it your own.
You just have to click on the map icon and then click ‘copy route' and you’ll have a new one, without having to draw it and measure it up.
You can also choose to give the route a new name, register it and also share the route further with others. It is now your own route.
Furthermore, you can also choose to share the route with an arena. Like this, training partners can easily see it and copy it. To do so, you need to be an administrator, or the administrator needs to allow teammates to upload content in the arena. So, if the arena doesn’t appear in the dropdown list when registering your route, that’s why!
